A little while ago during this internship, I suffered a near-nervous breakdown. Maybe it’s more like a crisis of talent. It wasn’t the first time. My verbal shorthand for this phenomenon is hamburger time. When I’m deep in despair, if someone asks what’s wrong, I croak, “hamburger time.” Either they sympathize, or they give me a hamburger. Both gestures are nice.
