Our boss recently said that his favorite of the nine interns was intern number ten…the one that emerges when we all put our heads together to work for a common goal. That made us wonder what we’d come up with if we worked together, but without a common goal in mind. In this little experiment, we add a drawing or a sentence to a piece of paper, describing what came immediately before it. Write a sentence for each picture, draw a picture for each sentence, and then fold the paper so only the last contribution is visible. The results are displayed below. And as you can see, our boss is right: together, we’re a genius.
