Ends are tricky things. They’re gripped with loss, change and fear of what comes next. They’re also charged with hope, excitement, and a divine expectation that things must and will carry on.
This week marks the very last the Hydra9 will be together. It’s a painful and sad realization that something we love so much can’t exist the way it once did. So what the hell do we do? How do we ‘carry on’ when a change we don’t want but know is necessary comes?
I can tell you exactly. We go to our closet, put on our steel-toed boots, get back in there and fight to make the future what we want it to be the next round, and that means all of us together again.
For those of us that are staying, there is a commitment to work our asses off to bring us back together. No mountain too high, no workload too insurmountable. If we love what we do, fight for the dream and show up with big, juicy hearts, the rest will come.
For those of us leaving, sad as it may be, the commitment is to continue and make ourselves stronger, get the big ideas bigger and empower ourselves with the skills we need to the point where ‘no’ no longer exists.
That’s the funny thing about ends. They always wind up being just beginnings in disguise.
Stay tuned, universe, you’ll see us again…all of us.
